I’m Sophie Douglas and I am a fully qualified and insured Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.  I am registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and the CNHC as well as being accredited by the National Board for Modern Psychotherapy (NBMP) and a senior member of Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH).

I work as a full time Practitioner and Practice Manager of my clinic based in the south of Scotland, and focus on helping people make lasting, positive changes within their lives.

I have always been interested in people and how their thoughts and experiences affect them in different ways.  With my passion for helping people coupled with my own personal positive experiences of hypnotherapy, I soon realised that this was what I wanted to do with my life. I offer a professional and upbeat approach to therapy.  In this way, we search for solutions that will help you to return to being the person you want to be and in turn, enabling clients to progress forward, with confidence and happiness.  I aim for every individual that enters my practice, to leave feeling the best they can possibly feel and with the ability to being the best version of themselves.

 

My love and passion for my job then encouraged me to go down the route of teaching the next generation of keen hypnotherapists. I am an experienced tutor and lecturer leading courses, workshops and CPDs throughout Scotland. I look at creating a classroom environment that is inspiring and full of enthusiasm. I feel learning should be exciting and fun, therefore, aim for this throughout my course.
